Connect to the AirMap for Drones app
1. Connect the Ground Control Station to your mobile device.
2. Open the AirMap for Drones mobile application.
3. Select the icon to connect to Camera view.
**Tip: Close out the DJI GO 4 app**
Select Rulesets: Selecting the Ruleset for your flight will display the regulatory requirements that apply to your Flight Plan.
Edit Flight Details: Adjust the flight details of your plan. Include duration of the flight and operating altitude. Aircraft and pilot information will automatically be included when the drone is connected. Submitting accurate Flight Plans help other drone operators using the AirMap application deconflict from your active flight area.
Review Compliance Evaluation: Verify compliance and review the briefing status of each rule that applies to you. Avoid restricted airspace and learn more about the regulations by expanding the drop down menu.
Authorizations (if applicable): Apply for authorizations in the AirMap app. Instantly identify if your Flight Plan has been accepted or rejected.
Submitting your Flight Plan
Automatically submit your Flight Plan by starting the drone's rotors. The prompt "Successfully created flight" will appear. Landing your drone will prompt a request to end your AirMap Flight.
Your submitted Flight Plan details will be publicly viewable by other AirMap users. You can view other drone pilot's Flight Plans by tapping on the active flight icon.
