Within your new AirMap account you have the capability to plan a multi 360 mission and execute the flight with ease. By following the steps below you can create a 360 mission to be flown once or on a set frequency. Make sure you are using compatible hardware (Ex. drone & IOS device)
1.) First right click the area you want to capture and an order request tab will appear.
2.) By clicking the tab you will be prompted to the screen below. From here you can name the mission and give it a unique ID. Within the mission type menu select “360 image.”
Click “next” when done.
3.) You will be taken to the screen below to add the number of 360s you want for your project by clicking the plus sign to the left of the screen.
4.) For this example we add four 360 images. These do not have to be the same altitude and can be adjusted to fit your needs as long as you are within airspace laws.
5.) Now that you have set the number of 360s you want you can select the “continue” tab.
Here you can schedule the mission or skip to schedule later on. Since you will be flying within your own account you will not need a task provider. Make sure your options match the picture below.
6.) By clicking on the on each 360 tab you can drag them to represent the area you want to capture. You also have the option to add special instructions for your operator to see while on site. (Ex. Be aware of cranes on site.)When you are happy with the locations select “continue”.
7.) Once you see this screen your order is submitted. Return to the map to set a schedule for capture using the Order Request Created.
8.) In your map view toggle on the order request button, this will generate a notepad icon, please click on it.
9.) By clicking the Order Request icon you can create the schedule for the flight.
10.) Now you will see a calendar view to set the frequency of capture.
After choosing the flight date click “add” this will generate a tab on the selected date and click update in the top right corner.
*Keep in mind if you are flying the same day the pin will generate in 3-5 minutes for flight, if a future flight is desired the pin will appear and can be flown within the timeframe you selected.
11.) Now the mission pin is live within your account and can be claimed in Hagar App by you or an operator added within your account.
Safe Flying !
