Welcome. Now that you have your Hangar World account (world.hangar.com) you are ready for flight. First you will need the required equipment for using Hangar. (Ex. drone/iOS device).
Please download and install our free app from the app store “Hangar Capture”on your iOS device.
You have downloaded the app now what?
Click in the menu and go to settings. Select your choice for upload.
- In App upload - in this option you will keep your drone connected and upload over your iOS device cellular connection. This can take long depending on your cellular connection.
- Upload.hangar.com - you will wait until you get home and put your SD card in your computer to upload to upload.hangar.com.
- Prompt - will give you the option to choose your upload option after the mission is completed.
Go outside and connect your drone by powering on and opening the app. This will connect and begin giving you camera feed on the screen. Tip: Make sure your remote is set to the “P” mode setting.
Okay you are all connected what’s next?
Open the app and press the white drone
icon located at the bottom right of the screen.
(After pressing the drone icon you will see the blue missions button, press as seen here.)
(You should now see the options for a current altitude 360 or default altitude.)
(Current altitude) is used when you have flown manually to a set location and hit load. This will begin the countdown sequence to capture the 360 where the drone is located “currently.”
(Default altitude) is used by loading the default option in a safe takeoff location. This will begin the sequence of flying up to 300ft and taking a 360 photo.
Either option you choose is fine.
You have captured the 360, now you see the option to return home. Once you have landed safely you are asked about uploading press submit. Depending on the option you chose in settings time will vary. Once complete the pin will change to green in the app. This is the signal for submitted and processing.
Everything is uploaded to your account now the processing begins. Processing a single 360 takes on average 5 min
Log into your World account and toggle the 360 button located at the top left of the page.
When the images are finished processing you will see these icons.
Click on the icon and you will enter the preview screen. Once you are here you can click on the compass icon to see the direction in which you are facing within the 360. You can also click into the view button to be immersed into your 360 full screen.
*If you right click you also have the option to make an annotation and expose the address of the area on your 360.
Safe flying everyone!
